I wrote a little journal article for Gobe Magazine, called “Guide to Shooting Dreamy Landscapes with a Variable ND”.
If you’re not sure what Gobe or a Variable ND is no worries! Gobe is a company that makes lens filters, such as ‘neutral density’ filters which control how much light your camera can see, thus giving you more control over natural lighting conditions. In the article, I share how I set out to create ‘dreaminess’ in-camera using the ND8-128 which is a variable Neutral Density filter, and how I used it to shoot long exposures along the California coast.
